Enjoy Tasmanian specialty food and wine
Glen, our head chef, designs his seasonal menus to incorporate the freshest Tasmanian produce.
With the ocean at our doorstep, Glen is always inspired to create delectable seafood dishes.
With our very own microbrewery we have fabulous brews to match our food and inspirational dishes such as our own beer icereams.
Both Michael and Glen hand pick our wine list, so that you can be assured that you have only the finest Tasmanian wines to accompany your meal or to enjoy on the deck watching the sunset.
Visit our National Parks
White Sands Resort is located approximately midway between Freycinet and Bay of Fires (Mount William national park).
It is an easy drive to all the wonders of these protected areas.
It is a short drive to Douglas Apsley which is one of Tasmanias best kept secrets.
You can also visit some of the largest white Gums at Evercreech forest reserves.

Whether it is a morning walk along our own secluded beach, a short walk at Douglas Apsley or hiking to the top of St Patrick’s head, there are countless walks to be enjoyed in close proximity to white sands.
Viewing Tasmanian Wildlife

However if you want to get up close and personal to a tassie devil, the Eastcoast Natureworld is only a 20 minute drive from white sands.

The east coast may not have designer boutiques, however our local artists are some of the most talented in the world with galleries scattered along your scenic drives up and down the cost from white sands.
