Our fully licensed restaurant is gaining a reputation unsurpassed by few on the East Coast, our Chef Glen Cordwell and his team use the freshest regional produce to create modern Tasmanian cuisine with French accents.
Glen grew up in Tasmania and has extensive knowledge of the Tasmanian seasons, produce and market. He has worked in some of the best restaurants in Tasmania including the Revolving Restaurant at Wrest Point and Edge of the Bay. He also spent 2 years in Margaret River, Western Australia. His local knowledge teamed with his life experience enables him to create a relaxed fine dining experience that is simplistic yet splendid.

New Spring Menu
Glen has designed new menus for lunch and dinner plus a new children's menu. As always our meals are fresh and fabulous, come and try them and let the flavours speak for themselves.
Our culinary event nights calendar has come to an end and we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who joined us on those chilly nights to experience the White Sands wow factor.
Our next and final special event for the year is our Ironhouse Beer, Bangers and Blues Day.

In November White Sands Resort was highly commended as one of the best seafood restaurants in Tasmania at the Hotel Associations Awards night. White Sands has been working to achieve this high standard over the past two years.
Recently renovated to take in the spectacular views
Apart from all of this the restaurant and bar have recently been renovated, with a stylish interior, 180-degree views of the beach, coastline and mountains, plus a large timber deck for the alfresco dining experience.
Our Restaurant and Bar is open for Lunch and Dinner, 7 days a week.
